Autoimmune and paraneoplastic disorders of the Central Nervous System

Aim of this event is to present recent novelties in the field of antibody-mediated central nervous system disorders, with a specific focus on autoimmune/paraneoplastic encephalitis, neuromyelitis optica spectrum disorders, and myelin oligodendrocyte glycoprotein antibody-associated disease in adults and pediatric patients. We will discuss the latest diagnostic criteria, the importance of correct diagnostic assays, and the relevance of proper treatment strategies. In addition, the presence of national and international patients’ associations will allow an active discussion with a collaborative integrative approach.
