SHARING EXPERT EXPERIENCE: FROM TREATMENT TO MANAGEMENT OF SPASTICITY

In the field of spasticity, there are many clinical pictures to be evaluated and treated with a view to functional recovery and improvement of the quality of life of patients who suffer from it. This refresher course aims to identify the signs and symptoms by sharing management experiences to promote faster and more effective management of patients who, following a stroke, brain injury or other etiology, develop multilevel spasticity.
The training course aims to deepen issues of spasticity treatment through the use of botulinum toxin, starting from the neurophysiopatholog y of spasticity to tackle the best assessment guides all the way to treatment.
Particular attention will be paid to the overall care of the patient in the rehabilitation process, using all available means, from post-injection treatment to robotics.
